Ing. Giovanni Battista RIGONI

Gianni Rigoni is a Civil Engineer with more than 40 years of experience in construction at top management level with a Master Degree in  Construction Law and Arbitration, Certified FIDIC Adjudicator and Chartered Arbitrator, member of DRBF and fellow of DBF, and responsible of dispute resolution proceedings. Contract manager with sound experience in the execution of complex works. Extensive knowledge of the legal and contractual mechanisms underlying the agreements the parties set to regulate their working relations (planning and monitoring execution and costs evaluation from delays and additional works).

Over the last 15 years he worked as counsel and technical expert in contractual management and dispute resolution proceedings. During the prior 25 years he worked in international large construction and infrastructure projects such as major bridges, large dams/hydroelectric projects, highways, motorways and viaducts, railways, tunnelling, water supply and sewerage systems projects, land reclamation, or buildings construction.

Regional experience in Europe: Italy, Romania, Albania, Armenia, Serbia, Sweden, Norway and Georgia, Africa: Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Algeria and
Cameroun, and Middle East: Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.  Native Italian with full professional  proficiency in English, French, Italian, and Romanian; understanding of Spanish.
